This passion drives us to seek meaningful change in the lives of these children, who face numerous challenges and limited opportunities. To amplify our impact, we've partnered with Love One Raise One, an organization whose mission resonates with our core values of nurturing and support.

To support MOSAIC's mission, we are excited to partner with them in strengthening their mentor-mentee relationships through goal-setting, positive feedback, and regular communication throughout each program cycle. We are proud to work with MOSAIC Mentoring and are eager to help them achieve their goals, but we cannot do it alone.

At Kilgro & Associates Insurance Agency, we understand the importance of giving back to our community, which is why we have joined forces with MOSAIC Mentoring of North Alabama. As part of our Community Cause Program, our team strives to participate in various initiatives that could make a difference in the lives of those nearby.

Hands Across Decatur is a nonprofit that ensures all individuals in the community receive essential, nutritious food and resources while getting back on track toward self-sufficiency. Their goal is simple: to help people in our community by giving them free services like teaching them life skills, how to use computers, how to read and write better, helping with making a resume and finding a job, and giving them clothes, food, and other things they need.

This time around, we’re bringing attention to Peace, Love, and Animals' admirable work. In order to understand each animal's needs and what makes them happiest, they take the time to get to know each one personally. Every animal should receive care, comfort, and safety according to the organization's stated mission, and this organization goes above and beyond to ensure this happens for all animals.

Here at Kilgro & Associates, we are always striving to provide the best for our children and help them chase their dreams. The mission of Mosaic Mentoring of North Alabama is to provide children that are facing adversity, with strong, enduring, and professionally supported relationships with a mentor that changes their lives for the better, forever. The goal is to help the children in our community grow up to be positive, successful human beings who contribute to and take part in society.

Mosaic of North Alabama is a nonprofit that serves youth across all ages and promotes their physical and mental health and the development of life skills. This organization provides a range of group activities and educational opportunities like mentoring and school-based services that pair adult volunteers with a child in need.

When it comes to experienced nonprofits, Hands On River Region is second to none, as they’ve been doing incredible work in our community for over 40 years! And they’re not slowing down this holiday season. This organization’s mission is to “mobilize volunteers and connect people, information, and services to meet local needs and build a strong, caring community.”

This non-profit organization exists to combat homelessness and provide the gift of opportunity to individuals in need. Their team of dedicated staff and experienced volunteers work one-on-one with homeless clients to create a personalized strategy that identifies and tackles specific challenges while also offering training and support for long-term success. By providing these services, individuals are guided back to self-sufficiency and independent living quickly.

The mission of Mosaic Mentoring of North Alabama is to provide children that are facing adversity with strong, enduring, and professionally supported relationships with a mentor that changes their lives for the better, forever. Their goal is to help the children in our community grow up to be positive, successful human beings who contribute to and take part in society. Like a mosaic, they aim to take the broken pieces of a child's life and turn them into a beautiful thing.

Hands Across Decatur helps provide people with freedom from homelessness and a path to self-sufficiency as several other things. These include assistance with medication expenses, job skills training, medical care, counseling, and even assistance with social services.  They also seek to provide clothing, emergency food supplies, and basic life necessities for those in crisis in our community.

There are hundreds of children in our community that leave school each day with nowhere to go and no productive way to spend their time. With parents and guardians still at work or exhausted from work, kids are often left to keep themselves busy with fruitless tasks that leave them unable to truly reach their full potential.

Kilgro & Associates Inc. is dedicated to impacting our community by doing what we can to help others Live Well and Thrive. We are committed to being Agents of Change. Every 90 days we will be identifying a child, family, or group that could use a hand. A great number of people are going through hardship, even as you read this right now. Through our new Community Cause program, we will be doing what we can to help them.
